The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • July 21 & 22: Nighttime lane and ramp closures on northbound I-5 through Downtown.
  • July 22 - 24: Capitol Hill Block Party will close E. Pike St. between Broadway and 12th Ave.
  • July 22 - 25: 23rd Ave. & E. Union St. intersection closed.
  • July 22 - 25: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Seattle while crews replace concrete panels.  This is the second of five weekend lane reductions.
  • July 22 - 25: University Bridge fully closed while crews repave the roadway.
  • July 23: Float Dodger 5K and West Seattle Grand Parade will close California Ave. SW in West Seattle.
  • July 30: Seafair Torchlight Parade will close 4th Ave. between the Seattle Center and Pioneer Square.
