The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • September 2 - 4: Bumbershoot festival at Seattle Center.
  • September 2 - 5: PAX West Expo at Washington State Convention Center.  9th Ave. between Pine St. and Pike St. will be closed Thursday morning to Tuesday morning.
  • September 3: Washington Huskies host the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at 11AM at Husky Stadium.  Go Dawgs!
  • September 9 - 12: 4th Ave. S. closed between S. Washington St. and Jefferson St. (roadway will reopen during the Seahawk game).
  • September 9 - 12: Eastbound lanes of I-90 closed between I-5 and Bellevue.  Traffic will be diverted to the Express Lanes.
  • September 11: Seattle Seahawks host the Miami Dolphins at 1:05PM at CenturyLink Field.  Go Hawks!
  • September 17: Multiple large attendance events in the SODO, Montlake, and South Lake Union neighborhoods.
