The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- December 31: Amy Schumer concert at 8PM at KeyArena.
- December 31: New Year's Eve at the Needle will close streets adjacent to the Space Needle during fireworks show at midnight.
- January 5 - 6: Westbound SR520 closed between Bellevue and Montlake Blvd. in preparation of the opening of the new westbound off-ramp to 24th Ave. E.
- January 8 - 11: Westbound I-90 closed between Bellevue and Seattle; traffic will be diverted to the Express Lanes.
- January 18: 24/7 lane closures begin on Aurora Ave. N. between the Aurora Bridge and Highland Dr. during installation of foundations for overhead signs; work is expected to take approximately 7 weeks.
