The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • May 31: Meridian Ave. N. Paving and Safety Improvements Project begins; work limits are N. 103rd St. to N. 112th St.
  • June 1: Northbound 23rd Ave. closed between E. Union St. and E. Madison St.  Traffic will be detoured to M.L. King Jr. Way.
  • June 3 - 5: 23rd Ave. & E. Cherry St. intersection closed.
  • June 3 - 6: Westbound I-90 closed between Bellevue and Seattle; traffic will be diverted to the express lanes.
  • June 5: Race for the Cure will close streets in Downtown and around the Seattle Center.
  • June 11: University of Washington Commencement.
