The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • March 14: Roosevelt Way NE Paving and Safety Improvements project begins.
  • March 14 - 24: Stewart St. reduced to two lanes between Minor Ave. and Boren Ave. during underground vault installation.
  • March 18 - 19: 2nd Ave. fully closed between Pike St. and Union St. during a large concrete mat pour.
  • March 19: Grand Opening of Sound Transit's U-Link's Capitol Hill and Husky Stadium stations.
  • March 19: Sounders host the Vancouver White Caps at 7PM at CenturyLink Field.
  • March 20: 4th Ave. closed between Pine St. and Olive Wy.
  • March 26: Metro Service Change begins.  Changes will impact routes in Northeast and South Seattle, as well as Capitol Hill.
