The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

Highlights:

King County currently remains in Phase 2 of Governor Jay Inslee's 'Safe Start' reopening plan.  Accordingly, all special events, sporting events, and concerts have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled until further notice, unless noted below.

  • Sept. 25 & 26: Lane reductions on NB I-5 over the Ship Canal Bridge for deck repairs.  Nightly 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Sept. 26 & 27: Denny Way fully closed between 6th Ave and Dexter Ave for signal loop installation.  Sat 7 a.m. - Sun 7 p.m.
  • Sept. 30 - mid-November: S Boeing Access Road reduced to one lane in each direction between EMWS & MLK Jr Way S.  24/7.
  • Oct. 3 & 4: Denny Way fully closed between 6th Ave and Dexter Ave for paving.  Sat 7 a.m. - Sun 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 3: Full closure of the Montlake Bridge for grid deck repairs.  6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Oct. 23: Full closure of the SR99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance.  Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 6 a.m.
  • Oct. 30: Full closure of the SR99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance.  Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 6 a.m.
