The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

King County currently remains in Phase 2 of Governor Jay Inslee's 'Safe Start' reopening plan.  Accordingly, all special events, sporting events, and concerts have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled until further notice, unless noted below.

  • June 8th - TBD: I-5 Express Lanes close at 8 p.m. nightly until further notice.
  • July 10 - 13: NE Pacific St. closed westbound from Montlake Blvd NE to 15th Ave NE for pavement work. Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • July 10 - 13: S Michigan St. closed between E Marginal Way S and 4th Ave S and lane reductions on 4th Ave S and E Marginal Way S.  Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • July 17: Full northbound closure of the SR99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance. Fri 10 p.m.- Sat 8 a.m.
  • July 19 - 22: Lane reductions on the NB 1st Ave S / SR99 Duwamish River Bridge for grid deck repairs.  Nightly 8 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • July 23: 1st Ave S Bridge / SR99 Duwamish River Bridge closed northbound for grid deck repairs.  8 p.m. - 5 a.m.
