The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • August 18: Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings at 7PM at CenturyLink Field.
  • August 18 & 19: Nighttime lane closures on Greenwood Ave. N. between N. 125th St. and N. 136th St.
  • August 19 - 21: Seattle Hempfest will take place in Myrtle Edwards and Centennial Parks along the Seattle waterfront.
  • August 19 - 22: Southbound I-5 reduced to two lanes south of Tukwila during roadway repairs (southbound SR167 also closed at Algona/Pacific).
  • August 20 & 21: Seattle Street Food Festival will close 9th Ave. N. between Denny Way and Republican St.
  • August 26 - 29: Westbound Denny Way closed between Stewart St. and Fairview Ave. N.
  • August 26 - 29: 4th Ave. closed between S. Washington St. and Jefferson St. during demolition of the Yesler Way Bridge.
  • August 26 - 29: SR520 floating bridge closed in both directions between I-5 and Bellevue.
