The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

  • Oct. 5: Warriors vs. Kings NBA pre-season game at KeyArena, 7:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 5 - 6 or 6 -7: SB I-5 will be reduced to one lane from the West Seattle Bridge to the Corson / Michigan exit, 8:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. Work is weather-dependent.
  • Oct. 6 - 7: Fairview Ave N. closed SB from Thomas St. to Denny Way, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 7: Seahawks host the LA Rams at CenturyLink, kick-off at 1:25 p.m.
  • Oct. 8: Seattle Sounders host Houston Dynamo, 7:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 12 - 15: SR-99 Southbound will be closed from the south end of the Battery St. tunnel to S. Spokane St., Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • Oct. 12 - 15: Rainier Ave S. at I-90 will be closed, Fri 11 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m. Same closure will happen Oct. 19 - 22 & 26 - 29.
  • Oct. 12 - 15: NB I-5 will be reduced to 2 lanes from MLK to Olive Way, Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • Oct. 19 - 22: SR 99 will be fully closed from the West Seattle Bridge to the Battery St. tunnel, Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • Oct. 20: UW Huskies host Colorado at Husky Stadium, kick-off TBA.
