- May 11 - 14: Lane and ramp closures on northbound I-5 between S. Michigan Street and Olive Way.
- May 13: The Color Run will close streets between the Seattle Center and downtown Sunday morning.
- May 14: Phase 2 of 23rd Avenue Corridor Improvements Project begins. Southbound traffic detoured to MLK Jr. Way S. beginning May 16.
- May 18 - 21: Lane and ramp closures on northbound I-5 between S. Michigan Street and Olive Way.
- May 19 & 20: University Street Fair will close University Way NE between NE 50th Street and NE Campus Parkway.
- May 25 - 28: Northwest Folklife Festival at Seattle Center.
