The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- March 14 - 24: Stewart St. reduced to two lanes between Minor Ave. and Boren Ave. during underground vault installation.
- March 25 - 27: Sakura-Con at Washington State Convention Center.
- March 26: Metro Service Change begins. Changes will impact routes in Northeast and South Seattle, as well as Capitol Hill.
- March 26: 2nd Ave. closed between Pike St. and Union St. during a tower crane erection.
- April 1 - 3: SR520 closed between Montlake and Bellevue for Grand Opening events.
- April 1 - 4: Intersection of Stewart Ave. & Boren Ave. reduced to one lane in each direction.
- April 3: Emerald City Bike Ride will start and finish at Husky Stadium.
- April 8: Seattle Mariners host the Oakland A's on Opening Day of the 2016 season.
