On Jan. 16, the Managing Members of The Northwest Seaport Alliance met and discussed the staff recommendation for the Clean Truck Program to begin denying entry to international terminals for trucks with engine model year of 2007 or older starting April 1, 2018. The Managing Members also took public comment at that meeting.

We anticipate commission action on that recommendation at their Feb. 6 Managing Members meeting at 11:30 a.m. at the Conference Center at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Blvd., Room 6012M, Seattle, WA 98158.

Video of the Jan. 16 meeting and meeting materials for Feb. 6 can be found here.

NWSA Clean Truck Program Open Houses

We are getting closer to our open house events. As a reminder, these events will bring together the NWSA with truck dealerships, retrofit options and financing partners to make truckers aware of tools available to assist them in becoming compliant with the Clean Truck Program. As we move closer to the events, we will update these emails with more information. RSVP is requested to ensure adequate space and staffing.
