The Northwest Seaport Alliance appreciates the strong, supportive relationships we share with shippers and supply chain partners doing business in the Seattle-Tacoma gateway. We created the North Star Award program to recognize and celebrate top-performing companies for impactful business initiatives that drive cargo volume for the gateway and/or contribute to the environmental health of the region.
Companies can compete for two awards - the Cargo Anchor Award (business growth) and the Environmental Stewardship Award (environmental initiatives). Winners are selected through a competitive judging process by a committee of NWSA Managing Member co-chairs and leaders from regional maritime and transportation-related organizations. Companies are welcome to nominate themselves or submit on behalf of a business partner or other business entity for an award.
We believe in elevating greatness! North Star Award winners will be recognized throughout the year at port-related events, a presence on the NWSA web site, in NWSA digital communications and social media and in the industry press.
