The Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, and the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) are writing to express gratitude for the renewed and active engagement by the U.S. government, under your leadership, in the development of strong environmental strategies and policies by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), especially those related to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
