<p>The Northwest Seaport Alliance welcomes the SM Line Qingdao to its North Harbor today. The Pacific Northwest Service (PNS) will be a weekly call of six 4,300-TEU vessels at SSA Marine’s Terminal 18 on Harbor Island.</p>

<p>Exports at The Northwest Seaport Alliance in April were up 3.3 percent at 112,645 TEUs (20-foot equivalent units) amid rising trade tensions. At 111,858 TEUs, import volumes were down 5.2 percent from the prior year volumes. Total international container volumes, at 224,503 TEUs, decreased 1.1 percent from April 2017. Total container volumes declined 1.1 percent in April 2018 compared to April 2017 for a total of 279,715 TEUs.</p>

<p>The Northwest Seaport Alliance’s total container volumes declined 9.6 percent in March 2018 compared to March 2017 for a total of 302,516 TEUs (20-foot equivalent units).</p>

Total container volumes grew 6 percent in February 2018 compared to February 2017 for a total of 279,488 TEUs (20-foot equivalent units).</span></p>
