The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

King County currently remains in Phase 2 of Gov. Jay Inslee's 'Safe Start' reopening plan.  Accordingly, all special events, sporting events, and concerts have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled until further notice, unless noted below.

  • Aug. 23 - 27:  Lane reductions on the NB 1st Ave S / Duwamish River Bridge for grid deck repairs.  Nightly 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • Aug. 28 & 29: Lane reductions on NB I-5 over the Ship Canal Bridge for grid deck repairs.  Nightly 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Aug. 28 & 29: S Michigan St. / 1st Ave S on-ramp closed to SB SR99 for paving.  Nightly 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • Aug. 29 - 30: S King St. closed between 1st Ave S and Occidental Ave S for a crane. Sat 4 a.m. - Sun 3 p.m.
  • Aug. 29 - 30: Blanchard St. closed from 6th Ave to 7th Ave for a crane. Sat 4 a.m. - Sun 7 p.m.
  • Aug. 29 - 30: Delridge Way SW closed between SW Barton St. and 18th Ave SW.
  • Aug. 29 - 31: Borealis Ave & eastbound Denny closed from 6th Ave to Dexter Ave for paving.  Sat 8 a.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • Aug. 30 - Sept. 3: Lane reductions on the NB 1st Ave S / Duwamish River Bridge for grid deck repairs.  Nightly 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • Sept. 8 - 10: 1st Ave S / Duwamish River Bridge closed northbound for grid deck repairs. Nightly 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • Sept. 11 & 12: Lane reductions on SB I-5 over the Ship Canal Bridge for grid deck repairs. Nightly 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.
