Port of Tacoma Road reopened to through traffic around 8:45 a.m.
The road closed earlier this morning due to a collision between two locomotives on the tracks that cross the road just south of Lincoln Avenue. The trains have been cleared, and traffic is moving freely through the area.
Traffic on Port of Tacoma Road between Marshall Avenue and the Washington United Terminals gate is reduced to one lane in each direction during the reconstruction of the road with concrete. Review the current construction schedule.
