Darigold is a top dairy exporter with deep roots in Washington State and the Pacific Northwest. They have been nominated for their new production facility in Pasco, WA. This facility will significantly increase production capacity for exports while incorporating innovative technologies and conservation strategies that could mitigate more than 300,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year.

Hyundai GLOVIS is an integrated logistics provider serving the Automotive, CPG and Industrial markets. They have been nominated for their strong commitment to the NWSA gateway through their consolidation of PNW Hyundai and KIA automobile imports at the Tacoma Harbor.
J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.
J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is a transportation company with over 50 years of experience in the logistics industry. They have been nominated for their new transload facility in the Tacoma Harbor and a recently launched domestic rail service using a newly established BNSF intermodal ramp in Tacoma.

Northwest Container Services (NWCS) has been a premier short-haul containerized rail service provider in the Pacific Northwest since 1985. NWCS has been nominated for their steady source of container volume for the NWSA terminals, where the company has moved an average of 60K containers per year in and out over the last nine years.

Nuna is an importer of premium car seats, baby strollers, and baby gear that has experienced tremendous growth in the PNW gateway over the last few years. They are being nominated for their significant growth in 2022 and the potential to further expand their import business via the NWSA gateway.

Rail Modal Group is a transportation company specializing in rail logistics solutions. Rail Modal Group has been nominated for its new inland rail hub that expedites shipment of agricultural exports directly from North Dakota to the Puget Sound, alleviating truck congestion at the port and increasing overall shipping efficiency. By leveraging rail transportation, Rail Modal Group has helped businesses reduce carbon emissions and transportation costs while ensuring reliable and timely delivery.
UWL
UWL is a dedicated cargo transportation company. UWL is being nominated for their innovative Sun Chief Express service, a pioneering ocean shipping connection between Southeast Asia and Seattle. The Sun Chief Express transported nearly 16,500 containers through NWSA ports in 2022.

Husky Terminal is an international ocean transportation terminal, located at the Port of Tacoma. Husky is being nominated for their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance air quality, and promote sustaining a healthy ecology in the Puget Sound.

Rail Management Services is one of America’s largest intermodal terminal operators, with over three decades of experience focused on facilitating the railroad-motor carrier interface. They have been nominated for their zero-emission project, which was a critical milestone on the NWSA’s pathway to meeting the Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy vision of “phasing out emissions by 2050”.
